I was born and raised in Nashville, TN. The incredible Gospel scene in the music city was an early influence, forming my love for music and singing. Theatre found it's way into my life and I haven’t looked back since. Belmont University, well known for its connection to Music City's music row (being located right at the end of the legendary street), is where I earned a Bachelor of Music degree in Music Theatre. While at Belmont, I participated in musical theatre and dance performances. I also participated in a number of cast recordings for Music Theatre International.

After college, performing took me all around the world: theme parks in Orlando, FL and Germany, exotic islands and destinations across the Mediterranean and Caribbean with some of the worlds most renowned cruising companies, and the tours of Dreamgirls and Sister Act that took me all across the United States and Canada, as well as Tokyo and Osaka, Japan!

I ended my full-time career as a performer after a lengthy and beautiful time in Aladdin on Broadway where I was Standby for Genie, Babkak, and The Sultan.

I still perform part-time, but my favorite work is being a teacher and director. I am Assistant Professor of Music Theatre Voice at Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, TN, where I also sere as Coordinator of Musical Theatre. I have taught out of a private voice studio since 2014 and I specialize in working with voice users across the gender spectrum.

As a director I’ve worked with wonderful companies on Thoughts of A Colored Man, Falsettos, and The Colored Purple. I look forward to more beautiful collaborations!
